Friday fun

It’s been a bit rainy lately, so it’s worth remembering that it’s still easy enough to ride your bike. I don’t know about you, but I have a better day if I can ride to work instead of being squashed into a humid, steamy-windowed bus.

Unity can’t decide which cycling shoes to wear.

The Guardian reports on a petition against the introduction of mandatory cycle helmets in Northern Ireland.

    I have a red rain poncho just like that for cycling in the rain. Wellington’s winds do make it feel more like a kite at times though.

    The video of the lady cycling away from the Japan Tsunami reminds me of the many pictures of people getting around post-quake Christchurch on bike where cars couldn’t.
